YOU WILL: -Define and execute the full marketing strategy and plans for the all categories with special focus on Hair care category. -Create strong marketing plans to differentiate the brand, build brand equity and drive consumer purchase -Proactively propose new ideas and messages to improve engagement and relevancy, including regional differences in Portuguese market -Work closely with the Media manager to define the relevant media plans and ensure effective media communications. -Coordinate, develop and control actions with Direct and indirect teams in order to build the best plans -Maximize visibility actions with other teams to show the best technology to each consumer, controlling messages and design guidelines. -Define, plan and control the full year category budget -Get marketing assets from appointed sources and vendors. Localize assets for Portugal market use, ensuring language and content aligns with consumer and brand focus. -Define consumer target(s) and profiles -Conduct competitor and market data analysis. -Identify consumer and market knowledge gaps, lead research projects to fill in the knowledge gaps, share findings to rest of organization, and transfer the learning into marketing activities and campaigns Partner with other areas of the business to drive category performance -Co-create join business plans for accounts to ensure we are growing innovatively and tracking toward sales goals -Use data and insights to find new opportunities; read into sales-out data and trends to identify low-hanging fruit -Partner with PR to define the communication strategy for the category -Find creative and innovative ways to improve our approach to influencers and press Commercial Reporting -Prepare and share regular performance updates with the wider team, deriving insights from sell-out and media data -Use written communication to keep all stakeholders informed and aligned to our category strategy SKILLS/ EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: -Bachelor’s degree required; Business/Marketing major preferred -2+ years in a product/category/account manager role in industries such as Hair care, Cosmetics, Perfumery, Department stores or comparable -Native in Portuguese, fluent in English. Spanish as a plus -Advanced knowledge/ proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Outlook and Powerpoint is required -Strong verbal and written communication skills – ability to communicate as a leader to senior leadership -Ability to gather insights from data to quickly and concisely summarize sales & marketing performance, outlook, problems and solutions to senior level management -Strong collaborator and connector with ability to influence others and take full ownership of results -Driven by the desire to win and for continuous improvement -Positive attitude with resilience -Problem Solving approach: able to critically analyse problems and present viable solutions -Entrepreneurial spirit; able to deal with ambiguity and willing to take risks as needed -Enthusiastic, quick learner, with strong Commercial awareness Be supersonic and send your updated CV to firstname.lastname@example.org
